Description We are seeking a Traveling Mailroom Assistant! This role involves traveling to different client sites, providing mailroom support, and assisting with various office projects. If you are detail-oriented, enjoy a variety of tasks, and have a willingness to travel, we'd like to hear from you.Position Overview: As a Traveling Mailroom Assistant, you will have the unique opportunity to work across various client locations, providing mailroom support services such as printing, scanning, binding, and assisting with office projects. This is a contract-to-hire role based on performance and fit with the team.Key Responsibilities:

Travel to different client sites to provide mailroom support.

Assist with printing, scanning, and binding of documents.

Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.

Collaborate with team members to complete office projects.

Maintain accurate records of mail and document handling.

Ensure the smooth operation of the mailroom at each client site.

Adapt to different client environments and requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.

Previous mailroom or administrative support experience is a plus.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Proficiency in using office equipment, including printers and scanners.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to travel to various client locations as needed.

Positive attitude and adaptability to different work environments.

Assist the certified and/or licensed practitioner in providing patient care services specific to their discipline by fitting selected orthotic and/or prosthetic devices under indirect supervisionand performing other assigned tasks. The Clinical Assistant will work under the general direction of the ACM/CM or his/her designee. Your Impact Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Assist practitioners with patient care. Prepare a room and patient for treatment, make and modify molds, perform technical fabrication, and complete administrative tasks. Complete and maintain accurate documentation of patient care provided. Evaluate selected orthotic and prosthetic needs of patients, measure, cast,fit, and adjust devices. Perform selected patient care procedures Provide alterations to the fitting of orthotic and prosthetic devices. Provide patient follow-up for selected orthotic and prosthetic patients. Perform shipping, receiving, and monitoring of inventory and other clerical tasks. Contact vendors to order prosthetic and orthotic materials Indirect Supervision: This level of supervision does not require the supervising credentialed individual to be on site however they must be available for consultation throughout the patient care process. The supervisor must review the results of care and the documentation of the services rendered by the supervised individual and is responsible for countersigning within 15 days all entries in the patient\'s clinical record. Additional Responsibilities: Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment. Adhere to all safety regulations; compliance with Medicare and other governmental regulations; compliance with blood borne and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements. Assistants who have obtained professional certification (Orthotic Fitter/Prosthetic Assistant) and received supplemental internal training may be asked to support the provision of hospital based post-operative care. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required (ABC/BOC) Assistant certification in orthotics, prosthetics or both. Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver\'s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger\'s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures. Additional Success Factors Knowledge and Skill: Willingess to consult certified clinician during patient care, as needed Ability to follow written and verbal directions. Hand skills necessary to use laboratory tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of biomechanical principles. Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills for reporting information to patient and staff. Effective organizational skills and ability to prioritize and plan for the purpose of meeting deadlines. Ability to work effectively as a team member.
