FP&A is made up of advisors who are influential in decision-making and partner with finance leaders to drive meaningful strategic and financial outcomes.Within FP&A, the Strategic Analytics (SA) team integrates big data analytics, strategic thinking, and deep firm knowledge to provide leadership with insights to drive informed decision-making and enable continued growth. The team partners with business and operational leaders to provide an impact by leveraging data and analytical tools, strategic thinking, and hypothesis-based analysis. Specific responsibilities and qualifications for the Manager role are outlined below.Work you'll do Core responsibilities
Apply strategic thinking and hypothesis-based consulting to frame complex questions into analytical problems and provide meaningful insights
Design and assist in facilitating workshops and working sessions with senior executives to build understanding and drive action
Support Finance and firm leadership with ad-hoc specialized analyses
Drive large, complex engagements, providing a forward-looking perspective and helping leadership make key decisions
Manage the implementation of recommendations by driving cross-functional stakeholder engagement, communications and other change management elements
Facilitate collaboration across ITS, Enabling Areas and Businesses to drive systemic solutions and sustainable impact across projects
Develop reporting to measure the impact of changes
Translate conceptual questions into data-driven analyses to allow leaders to make informed decisions
Utilize storyboarding and data visualization to effectively communicate key data insights to leadership
Structure and guide modeling efforts that underpin strategic recommendations
Foster strong relationships with other internal consulting and analytics groups to drive growth and profitability
Work with key stakeholder groups to build cross-functional relationships across the organization
Provide ad-hoc expertise on project framework, approach, tools and firm data to other teams
Other responsibilities
Develop timelines, milestones, and metrics to effectively plan and execute projects; collaborate cross-functionally with firm leadership, Business leadership, FP&A teams (e.g., Finance Business Partners), and additional teams (e.g., Talent, Strategy) and inform stakeholders of project progress
Advise on key messaging and presentation content to communicate the intended story and achieve business outcomes; Collaborate closely with stakeholders and senior leadership
Provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership and support the decision-making process
Provide leadership, mentorship and guidance to staff to support professional development and advancement towards career goals
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related subject
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant Finance experience
Demonstrated accomplishments in the following areas:
Strategy development
Quality and risk management
Business and process improvement
Develop action plans
Financial reporting and analysis
Planning and forecasting
Project management
Data analysis, management, and visualization
Work with senior leadership
Proficiency in Tableau
Advanced in MS Office (Excel, PPT, Outlook, Teams)
Preferred:
Advanced education degree
Experience in a professional services firm
Ability to travel as needed

This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York state, and Washington state and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
