Overview:We are seeking experienced engineers to support two integrated teams working on cutting-edge UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) and missile systems. The positions are focused on propulsion system design (fuel system integration) and airframe design (mechanical and control systems). These roles are critical for the successful development and delivery of advanced small airframe missile systems powered by turbine engines.Key Responsibilities:
Fuel System Engineer:
Design and integrate fuel systems for small aircraft missile systems, focusing on fluid handling components, pressure regulators, check valves, and hydraulic systems.
Ensure fuel system efficiency and safety in turbine-powered systems.
Work on the design and testing of fuel tanks and associated components.
Airframe and Control Systems Engineer:
Design and develop airframe structures, actuation, and control systems for UAS and missile systems.
Utilize CREO 7.0 for CAD design, with an emphasis on mechanical engineering (ME) skills, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration and testing.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in fuel system design, fluid handling, and hydraulic components within UAS, aircraft, or missile systems.
Strong knowledge of fuel components, including regulators, check valves, and fittings.
Experience in fluid dynamics and pressure regulation.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, focusing on airframe, actuation, and control systems within UAS, aviation, or missile systems.
Proficient in CREO 7.0 and GD&T.
Strong experience in mechanical design, system integration, and manufacturing.
Additional Information:
This is an on-site position located in Plymouth, MN.
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position. Clearance is a plus but not mandatory.
