Key Accountabilities
? Support .NET apps and legacy code on a continuous basis
? Ability to work and problem solve independently on initiatives that align to the broader IT strategy
? Contribute to detailed application specifications, standards, and diagrams and develop coding logic flowcharts
? Contribute to overall systems design, research and evaluate vendor supplied applications, provide customization or development recommendations, and implement accordingly
? Analyze and review existing or proposed product features and improvements with clients, business analysts, and team members
? Create, document and maintain build and deployment code. Potentially develop and manage automation tools related to release and deployment automation.
? Conduct testing of new or customized application modules to ensure application meets specifications
? Document functions and changes to new or modified modules, test activities/results, error handling and backup/recovery procedures
? Use version control to track changes to application level and level configuration changes. These types of changes should follow the software lifecycle process as well as established change management processes.
? Participate in product planning and implementation
? Serve as primary product level support for ongoing maintenance and production issues
? Support RPA automation as needed by the Product teams using kryin or Nintex Foxtrot.
? Perform other related duties as required ? Bring in high energy with a solution-oriented mindset.
Minimum Requirements
Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical field or equivalent work experience
Required Experience
? 3 to 5 years of Engineering experience
? Knowledge of industry standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices
? Knowledge of systems design concepts that provide security and stability
? Deep knowledge of Operating Systems and/or Application Development Platforms
? Ability to debug code and/or complex log files for troubleshooting and analysis of product defects
? Sound understanding of application engineering concepts
? Knowledge/experience with querying databases for data lookup/update
? Financial Services industry experience
? Coach / mentor other team members as appropriate
Preferred
? Knowledge of the IBS ecosystem
? ACH Tracker experience or knowledge
? Powershell or other scripting experience strongly preferred
? Financial services domain experience
? Knowledge about code repository software ? like Github
? Release & deployment automation tools like Jenkins, Octopus, Redgate etc.
? Knowledge of templatizing software like iText.
