Job Summary:
This position acts as the primary business analyst, functional system administrator and system support role to ensure that the software is configured for maximum benefit to EMC’s departments. The Oracle ERP Functional Administrator needs to be highly motivated to take initiative to fully integrate the business with Oracle EBS software, eager to learn and broaden their skills, and will go the extra mile to continuously improve the system. This role will require hands-on work as well as strategic thinking and collaboration
inside and outside the department.

Essential Job Functions:
•

Configure user security (roles, data access) and setting up new users within Oracle EBS .
• Analyze business processes and integrate them with Oracle EBS.
• Design and configure various modules of Oracle EBS to maximize benefits to the business to support rapid growth.
o Financials, iexpense, AP, GL, Cash Management, Invoice Scanning, Project Costing, and Tax
o Purchasing, inventory, sourcing, isupplier portal, and iprocurement
  • Document business processes and procedures in the context of the system.
    • Prepare for Oracle EBS upgrades, test, and launch as directed.
    • Support and troubleshoot Oracle EBS functional issues.
    • Conduct Oracle EBS end-user training for EMC personnel (including developing appropriate training materials).
    • Ability to code PL and SQL based on business needs.
    • Collaborate and partner with business functions to identify and support requirements as needed within Oracle EBS.

    Skills and Abilities:
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, current knowledge of technology and the ability to be a constant learner.
    • Data and detail-orientated, high degree of accuracy.
    • Capable of managing multiple tasks; demonstrated ability to successfully meet project timelines and goals in a fast paced, changing environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
    • Skilled in Excel used for tracking and analysis.
    • Able to work well in a team environment as well as individually.
    • Knowledge of business and financial acumen.
    • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
    • Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.

    Education:
    • 4-year bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related experience.

    Experience Required:
    • Minimum of 5 years working experience.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating with Oracle E- Business Suite (version 11 or 12)
    • Experience working as a systems business analyst or liaison between business and IT.

    Experience Preferred/Other Qualifications:
    • Experience in Oracle Hyperion.
