Role Summary AgMotion is looking for a Network Engineer at our headquarters located in downtown Minneapolis. The role has flexible hours, and remote work options. The Network Engineer will be mainly responsible for managing servers, network, O365/Azure services, and the deployment of high-level systems. Other responsibilities will include supporting remote sites, proactively finding issues throughout the company, coordinating user requests, deploying system management technologies for a primarily Windows environment, automation of processes, and mentoring other members of the IT department when needed. Our ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys learning new tech, is self-driven, detail oriented and is looking for a chance to build with new tools. We also desire strong sense of communication and comradery with other team members.

System monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting systems.
Escalation of problem tickets to manufacturers or designated third parties.
Manage and maintain Windows server environment.
Coordinate the Windows server update cycles.
Develop data recovery strategies by maintaining the backup systems for the company.
Design and implement security policies for the network infrastructure including MFA policies, network hardening, firewalls, etc.
Configure, monitor, and deploy applications across the company.
Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
Upgrade systems by conferring with vendors and consultants; develop, test, evaluate and install enhancements and new software.
Dialogue with users about how to solve existing system problems.
Participating in yearly security audits.
Determine what changes need to be made to the network in the future.
Learn new technologies by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations.
Knowledge and Experience:
Programming and scripting abilities (PowerShell)
Microsoft server technologies (Hyper-V, Server 2012R2/2016/2019)
Azure and Office 365 migration and deployment experience
SAN technologies (Dell/EMC SC series)
iSCSI, FC fabric infrastructure technologies
Networking technologies (Dell N and S series, Palo Alto)
Hardware technologies (Dell PowerEdge)
Security management (Active Directory, Group Policy, MFA/2FA, identity technologies)
Project management and documentation skills
System management (Lansweeper, SCCM)
AD and group policy
Backup technologies, tape, S3 and immutable storage

Work Conditions:
