Position: UX Researcher
Location: Fully Remote/Off-site

Duration: 4 month contract

Rate: Up to $50/hour, Dependent on experience.
Our financial services client is looking for a fully remote UX Researcher to join the team in a 4 month contract.
Day to day:
- Responsible for designing and conducting both user-focused product design research and usability tests for technology applications, websites and other digital experiences across various platforms including desktop, mobile and tablet.
- Research includes identifying user needs and goals, task and workflow modeling as well as regularly scanning the competitive landscape.
- Assist in developing the UX research strategy and plan for each project, including validation of customer needs.
- Designing, conducting and managing user-focused product design research for new projects; conducting ongoing research of user needs.
Background / experience we are seeking in candidates:
- 4+ years UX research experience
- Proficient in qualitative and quantitative user experience research methodologies
- Comfortable in executing moderated research in a virtual setting.
- Flexibility with tools.
- Comfort with conducting research operations for themselves (recruiting and scheduling interviews)
- Someone who can join a project from the start, execute a research plan, study, present to stakeholders, manage their own studies operations. Preferable facilitate work sessions, design sprints.
Bonus / stand out qualities:
• Agency experience (would be beneficial for relationship management)
• Understanding how to apply UX research in a waterfall setting and validation research for agile.
