Alary's Bar had been located in Downtown Saint Paul for over 75 years. We offer free parking and shuttles to to Wild, Saints, United and other major events. We are also home to Minnesota fans of the Chicago Bears. Business is good and we are expanding our team to meet growing demand.
Job Summary
We are seeking a mature, professional, bartenders and servers who embody confidence, professionalism, and great customer service skills. This gig requires seasoned individuals capable of creating a welcoming atmosphere while expertly managing F and/or B service and leaving drama and bad days at home. We are an event driven bar so candidates needs to understand the ying-and-yang of high volume great money shifts and shower shifts with the ability to build a following of generous regulars. Hourly wage plus tips average in the $30 to $60 range. Slow day could be less, big days are much more. 2 to 5 shifts per week.
Responsibilities
Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized service that encourages repeat visits.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar dining area.
Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies; and report low and 86'd supplies
Demonstrate excellent time management skills by balancing multiple tables or bar stations while maintaining high-quality service.
Experience
Proven experience working as a bartender and or server.
Familiarity with Toast; prior cashiering or cash handling experience is essential.
