Donut Star, the classic donut shop and bakery in Burnsville is under new ownership and looking for passionate people to join our team.
After nearly 50 years, the Donut Star has been completed renovated with a brand new kitchen, and revitalized dining space. We have revised the entire menu, and returned this classic donut shop to true scratch baking.
We need 1-2 pastry professionals with a desire to learn and grow their careers. We're looking for creative people, interested in contributing to a fun donut and pastry-driven menu. If you want to be a part of a dedicated team with plans to grow a classic local brand, we have a great role for you.
The Baker role includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Production of donuts and other pastries with a focus on quality and consistency
- Shift is 12am-7am
- Working clean and efficiently in order to meet production goals
- Coordinating with Executive Pastry Chef and Ownership to execute large orders, custom orders, and catering requests
- Contributing to new systems and procedures to improve our efficiency
- Maintaining a clean and organized bakery
- Being a cool person who genuinely likes making delicious pastries
- Having a positive attitude
- Working to solve problems in a collaborative way
- Being creative and contributing to the menu with specials, features, and seasonal pastries
