THE COMMODORE - General Manager
The Commodore Bar and Restaurant opened in 2015 and has quickly become recognized as one of the top cocktail lounges and restaurants in the area. You can find our website at www.thecommodorebar.com. We are located on the ground floor of the Historic Commodore Hotel, a piece of Saint Paul History in the Summit Avenue/Ramsey Hill neighborhood. During its heyday the stunning art deco bar was the favorite spot for such artistic luminaries as F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald but also gangster royalty like Ma Barker and Al Capone. In keeping with the bootlegging history of the building we are now known for showcasing local and regionally distilled craft spirits and craft beers. We highlight some of the best products available within an overnight drive for our carefully selected craft cocktail program.
We are currently seeking skilled candidates for our General Manager position. We seek someone who has the passion, knowledge and commitment to deliver an outstanding guest experience in an upscale environment. You will need to have experience successfully leading a team of service professionals and a complete understanding of business operations. Past experience working with private event planning and operations will be a plus. You should have a flexible schedule that will include nights and weekends.
