Hyacinth is a charming Italian-leaning restaurant dedicated to serving dishes crafted from farm-sourced produce. With an intimate setting of just 36 seats, we pride ourselves on creating a warm and inviting dining experience for our guests. As we continue to grow, we are searching for a passionate Line Cook to join our small, dedicated team.
About the Role:
As a Line Cook at Hyacinth, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes that highlight the freshness of our ingredients and the growing season. You will work closely with our kitchen team, contributing to a collaborative environment where learning and creativity are encouraged. Many of our dishes and sauces are cooked ‘a la minute’ and/or prepared daily. As a small team, we are dedicated to finding the right candidate and are committed to providing training and sharing our expertise. We believe in fostering a culture of continuous learning for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with our recipes and standards.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
Learn and grow in various aspects of kitchen operations.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen is preferred.
A desire to learn and develop culinary skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
General knowledge of poultry and fish butchery.
