What You'll Do:
Prepare and cook menu items to order following recipes and standards.
Work efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining food quality and presentation.
Assist in prepping ingredients and maintaining a clean and organized station.
Follow all health and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service.
Job Title: Pit Master Apprentice
Reports To: Head Pit Master / Kitchen Manager
Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Include Schedule Expectations)
Job Summary:
We’re looking for a passionate and driven Pit Master Apprentice to join our BBQ team and learn the art and science of traditional wood-smoked barbecue. As an apprentice, you’ll work side-by-side with seasoned pitmasters to master fire management, meat preparation, smoking techniques, and equipment maintenance. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role perfect for someone serious about a culinary future in barbecue.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous cooking experience in a restaurant kitchen is preferred but not required. Preference will be given to people with brunch, breakfast and/or BBQ experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering excellent food.
Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
