We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team at Bar Siena, a new restaurant in downtown Hopkins from chef Rhett Roberts of Petite Leon. We are a small, locally- and family-owned restaurant serving fresh, handmade pasta alongside pizza and small plates. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to delivering high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional hospitality experiences.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Food preparation for daily operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
Monitor food quality and consistency before serving.
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures used in the kitchen at Bar Siena.
Previous experience in a restaurant environment is preferred.
Ability to take direction.
Proven skills in fine dining food preparation are desirable.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques are essential.
A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills is highly valued.
