Paris Dining Club is a luxury meal kit and catering company founded by James Beard-nominated Chef Jamie Malone. We are looking for a Private & Event Chef to join our team, working at our Minneapolis studio and a variety of off-site events and in-home dinners.
Position: Full-Time or Part-Time
Hours: Variable, based on event bookings (typically 2pm-10:30pm)
Frequency: 1-6 events per week, depending on demand
Pay: $200-300 per shift, depending on skill level & event bookings
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute high-end menus for private events and dinners, ensuring food quality, presentation, and consistency that meet PDC's standards
- Manage the timing and flow of courses, problem-solve effectively, and adapt to each event
- Communicate clearly with production chefs, FOH staff, and Chef Jamie to maintain seamless service
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a sous chef
- Reliable transportation for picking up food from our production kitchen and traveling to event locations
- Commitment to working at least 1-2 events weekly
- Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills
