Job Description:
Learnability is seeking a part time DSP to support men in a one on one role. We provide comprehensive training and shadowing as you explore the outdoors with our clients. Our clients enjoy cooking, community gathering and some one who thinks outside of the box for employment opportunities.
We are a small organization that gets to know each and every client, so that we are able to provide the best experiences we can, both for our staff and those we serve. Building relationships and trust is our priority.
For this position, we are seeking candidates who have experience in laughing, connecting with the community on our outings, bathing, toileting, grooming and offering options for choices in each individuals home. These locations are all males and are seeking candidates where they can exercise their expertise in facilitating their person-centered development.
Our DSPs are expected to support community involvement, assisting in clients' medication, and supporting healthy hygiene/diets.
Learnability has a rate of $27.50 weekday/$30.50 awake weekend shift/$17.50 for asleep.
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Reliable transportation
Acceptable criminal record
2 years of experience as a DSP (preferred)
