Learnability has an upcoming opening for every Sunday 1pm to 8am Monday morning (asleep overnight) or the shift can be split depending on the candidate.
The right candidate will have an upbeat, caring, and positive attitude. A CNA certificate and experience with adults with disabilities is highly desired. We provide paid training and growth in our organization! Company vehicles are available at the site for both individuals during community outings and their day program.
Basic Function:
Direct Care staff provide personal care support and assistance to individuals with spina bifida and related disabilities in the client's home. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting our clients with various activities of daily living as well as helping clients reach independence goals.
Responsibilities could also include socialization, transfers, meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping, hygiene, enemas and catheter care.
We will ensure that your comfort and skill level complement both young ladies in the home for their care plan.

Qualifications and Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Driver’s license/clean driving record
Ability to lift, use a hoyer and assist with all aspects of each individual's daily routines
Successfully pass clearances - MN State Police Criminal Background Check and driving history
Required Skills:
Ability to treat clients with respect and dignity
Possess basic reading, writing, and math skills
Ability to follow a client's service plan
Possess basic cooking and housekeeping skills
Able to lift 50+ and utilize a hoyer if needed

Part-time employees accrue PTO at 3 hours for every 30 hours worked starting from your first date of employment!
