Angel Food Bakery + Coffee Bar is a sunny St. Louis Park gem with fabulous donuts, breakfast pastries, cookies and cupcakes. Our growth has been amazing, so we're now on the lookout for someone who’s naturally well organized, and would thrive knowing how much we genuinely appreciate your help keeping our bright, sunlit kitchen stay clean and orderly.
As our KITCHEN PORTER, you would support our bakers by keeping the kitchen clean, washing dishes, putting away incoming supply/ingredient deliveries, and basically keeping things tidy and organized. As time allows, we can teach you basic food prep to add to your skills while gaining valuable commercial kitchen experience.
The schedule is weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun) from 7am to 3pm to start, but with possible full time hours available for the right person. Can’t fit those exact hours? We definitely need you most weekends, but can work together with you to come up with a flexible schedule that keeps everything humming smoothly while respecting your preferred days off.
Previous knowledge or experience is a plus, but attitude and work ethic matter even more. For this entry-level position, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, LIKES things to be organized, and appreciates kind-hearted, hands-on managers who pitch in whenever and wherever needed to help our award-winning bakery run smoothly.
