Basic Function:
Direct Care staff provide personal care support and assistance, include but are not limited to, assisting our clients with various activities of daily living as well as helping clients reach independent goals.
Responsibilities include social outings, running errands, meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping and hygiene.

Qualifications and Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
Certification as a PCA, DSP, CNA or HHA is desired.
Strong understanding of person-centered planning and support methodologies.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and maintain a positive work environment.
Proficiency in relevant computer applications for record-keeping and reporting.
Successfully pass clearances - MN State Police Criminal Background Check and driving history (less than 3 violations in 3 years)
Required Skills:
Ability to treat clients with respect and dignity
Possess basic reading, writing, and math skills
Ability to follow a client's service plan
Possess basic cooking and housekeeping skills

Full-time employees receive a bank of PTO after 90 days of 160 hours/20 days

Pay: $28.50 awake (6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm) and $17.50 asleep (10pm to 6am)
