Paving Operator:
Responsibilities
Ensure a safe work environment
Operate paver in a safe and efficient manner
Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
Observe distribution of paving material along screed and control the direction of the screed
Control the paver screw to lay the appropriate depth of asphalt
Assist crew with various responsibilities; i.e. shoveling, raking, etc.
Experience with LeeBoy paver preferred
Skid Operator:
Responsibilities
Ensure a safe work environment
Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
Operate skid in a safe and efficient manner
Assist crew with various responsibilities; i.e. shoveling, raking, etc.
Operate skid in order to excavate, grade, pave, etc.
Make normal operating adjustments for obtaining proper depth, grade and finished product
May perform other related duties such as: milling, brooming, etc.
Experience with CAT machines and attachments
Qualifications:
Class D Drivers License (Required)
Class A CDL (Preferred)
Paving, 1 year (Required)
Asphalt Experience 1 year (Required)
Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors
