Looking for a fun job with good people and products that smell amazing? Join the Bard Flowers Production Team!
Who are we?
Bard Flowers is a full service floral wholesaler managing retail floral programs for our retail and convenience store partners all across the Midwest. Our in-house team of florists prepare bouquets for over 700 partner locations.
What is the job?
Production assistants will learn everything there is to know about flower bouquets. The day will include processing roses (stripping thorns, removing outer petals), assembling bouquets, and helping out around the warehouse (watering plants, clean up, and washing vases).
What are the hours?
Our team generally works Monday – Wednesday ever week. Start time is between 6 am and 7 am (team members may pick their start time) and work continues until completion (average end of day is around 3 pm but varies depending on the season).
What is the work like?
While we do allow folks to stop and smell the roses, the work is fast paced and team oriented. You will be paired with one of our experienced florists who will ensure you know what to do and check your work. Expect to be able to lift a bucket of water or box of roses (up to 30 pounds), be comfortable on your feet or on a stool, and prepared to learn quickly.
