Job description
We area growing fire/life safety Company looking for individuals with a valid driver’s license to assist with the cleaning of commercial kitchen exhaust hoods and ducting. Person must be able to work in MPLS area and travel out of town for several days at a time. Hotels and per diem are provided for out of town work. Exhaust Cleaning Experience preferred. This is on the job training.
Job Responsibilities:
- Kitchen Exhaust System Cleaning: Fans, Filters,Hoods, Duct work
- Miscellaneous Shop Work as needed
- Out of Town Travels
- Complete Accurate Paperwork
Job Requirements:
- Flexible Schedule
- Typical work hours are overnight
- Able to travel out of town for work
Mechanical Ability
- Basic mechanical aptitude is preferred for position (hand tools, drill, etc.)
- Additional mechanical abilities are a plus
Relatively Physically Fit
- Climbing ladders, kneeling on the floor and appliances, cleaning ductwork, fans, hoods,filters, etc.
Flexible Schedule
- Due to nature of our customers, we usually clean Sunday Night through Thursday Night. One day could be night jobs and the next day could be day jobs. There is not a set schedule of hours, it changes every day/week.
Valid MN Driver’s License Preferred
Job Compensation/Benefits:
- Hood Cleaning Technician can expect to make $25.00/per hour
