We are seeking a detail-oriented housekeeper and house helper to clean our house. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining a clean and orderly environment while respecting our fragrance-free policy due to health-related sensitivities.
We’d like to hire someone part time for the summer. This could be perfect for a high school or college student.
No experience is necessary, but you must enjoy cleaning and be willing to use nontoxic cleaners. This might mean a little more scrubbing, but it keeps everyone safe by using natural cleaning products.
Also, you must be a nonsmoker and fragrance-free or close to it because of our sensitivities and allergies. If you use scented laundry detergent or dryer sheets, you will not be a good fit. (Scented shampoos or lotions are usually not a problem)
Duties include:
Detailed cleaning of bathrooms and kitchen
Dusting
Vacuuming
Cleaning floors (sweeping and steam mop)
And other misc duties and projects such as organizing, running errands or other things depending on your interests.
The schedule is somewhat flexible and we can see what works best for both of us. Early to mid afternoons usually work best, but mornings could also work. No evenings.
