Linwood Township has an immediate opening for one FT public works/maintenance employee.
Duties include light to heavy manual labor; snow plowing; operation and maintenance of equipment; building, park and road maintenance.
Qualifications: HS graduate or equivalent; must possess a valid Minnesota Commercial Class B driver’s license or higher with air brake endorsement; must have experience in commercial snowplowing; must be available 24x7 for on-call especially during snow emergencies (including holidays); must be able to report for work within one hour of notification during on-call; general knowledge of basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and grounds keeping; experience with snowplowing. Experience operating a plow truck with a wing and salt spreader is preferred.
Must have a good driving record and be able to pass DOT physical, background check, and a drug test.
