Job Description: Work within client facilities, including systems furniture, case goods, accessories, wall-hung units, etc. Come to work ready to complete each project with a high level of quality and a focus on customer satisfaction. Be able to react to changes in the field and communicate effectively with our customers and team members. We welcome all levels of experience and offer training to ensure your success.
Personal Requirements:
Professional manners and appearance.
Polite and patient.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with co-workers and customers as needed.
Ability to lift and move furniture and equipment as much as 75 pounds.
Ability to perform physical movements, including squatting, bending, kneeling, twisting, climbing stairs, etc.
Self-motivated, hard-working, with attention to detail.
Punctual with the flexibility to work extended shifts.
Willing to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks and details.
Ability to work safely with tools and other furniture-related equipment.
Reliable transportation to the primary location or directly to job sites.
Good driving record, can safely drive company delivery trucks.
Mechanically inclined.
Position Details:
Loading, unloading, staging, unboxing, assembly, disassembly, installation, and cleaning furniture.
Reading furniture schematics and recording field measurements.
Ability to accurately record time and details relating to job activities.
Handling furniture, tools, equipment, vehicles, and company/customer sites with care.
Problem-solve.
Represents the best of ABF at all times on the job site and can positively interact with customers and other team members.
Pay and Benefits:
o $20-$28 per hour, based on experience.
o $1,000 bonus after 90 days.
