Seeking horse enthusiast to work Saturdays at my small 15-horse boarding facility. Rural farm in a lovely setting with a relaxed atmosphere, nice people, clean, airy barn and well-mannered horses
This is a permanent part-time position working an 8 hour shift from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1 hour off during the day for lunch and breaks) 3 out of 4 Saturdays.
Duties including cleaning/bedding 9-10 stalls, handling and feeding horses morning and evening plus various barn and cleaning chores.
Job requirements are previous equine experience, reliability, strong work ethic and physical fitness. Need to have the ability to work independently, the willingness to be flexible and the enthusiasm to perform all the duties requested. Reliable transportation a must.
If you don't appreciate manual labor or do not enjoy working in a variety of weather conditions, this is not the job for you!
