Type of Work
The work involved requires a jack of all trades. Responsibilities for this job include maintaining inventory (i.e. checking fluid levels, starting and test running equipment before rental), loading and unloading equipment and regular janitorial responsibilities, both in the show room and in the rental yard.
Job Responsibilities
Load and unload equipment per company procedures.
Prepare equipment for rental (test run machines, check fluids, ect)
Clean equipment per company procedures. Cleaning includes the use of pressure washers and standard chemicals
Keep warehouse and store front clean and neat. This includes dusting shelves, sweeping floors and cleaning bathrooms.
Keep all rental equipment neatly displayed and ready to rent
Assist customers with loading and unloading of rental equipment.
Make sure customer understands proper usage and safety features of rented equipment.
Limited work at the front desk area. Required to greet customers and write rental contracts on a limited basis.
Communicate with the Store Manager on a daily basis.
Skill and Education Requirements
Must be able to consistently interact with customers
Must have a valid and current driver's license
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Must adhere to company uniform/work attire policies
Must maintain an acceptable attendance record
