Linwood Township has an immediate opening for one PT Park Attendant/Public Works employee. This position is 30 hours per week.
The primary responsibility of the park attendant is regular maintenance and cleaning for parks. Duties are to routinely inspect the park areas, remove any potential hazards, ensure all equipment is in working and safe condition, pick up trash, and the maintenance and flooding of the ice rinks. When the demands in the parks area are low and/or a public works emergency is identified, this position will fulfill the requirements of a public works employee which may include township road repairs & snowplowing, park irrigation management, as well as building repairs and maintenance.
Qualifications: HS graduate at least 18 years old; must have a good driving record, and be able to pass a DOT physical, background check, and a drug test. Candidates should be reliable and committed to maintaining township parks.
Pay depends on qualifications and experience.
