Looking for a motivated individual to clear snow with a ride on snow machine and perform a small amount of hand shoveling.
This job requires a drivers license and capability to obtain a medical cab card. You will be picking up the vehicle in Brooklyn Center and driving an enclosed truck between properties. When arriving at the job site, you will have a snorator (a stand on riding plow) to clear sidewalks. Some hand shoveling may be needed to get into tighter areas or steps. After clearing, anti-icing materials will need to be applied to the walks.
Work hours are dependent on snowfall times. We typically begin clearing snow when it stops accumulating. This means the ideal candidate will have open availability. The routes are designed to be completed within 4-6 hours on a typical snowfall with a single person. Should you wish to work as a team, the rate per property does not change. Motivated individuals/teams have the ability to take on more properties and increase their earnings. Compensation is per property and increases with deeper snowfalls. This is not a cash job. You will be employed as a W2 employee or can be 1099 with valid commercial liability insurance.
Requirements
A valid driver's license
Ability to obtain a medical cab card
A cell phone for communication with the office
Ability to follow directions in our app based dispatch system
Open availability during the Winter months preferred
Ability to work outside in cold temperatures for extended periods of time
Ability to lift 50 pound salt bags
