Job Title: Tree Groundsman
We are a small Tree Service that works in and around the twin cities metro area. Looking to add another guy or 2 to our crew.
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Tree Groundsman to join our team. The Tree Groundsman will be responsible for assisting the tree climbers in the removal of trees, trimming of branches, and general maintenance of trees and shrubs. The ideal candidate will have experience in tree care and a strong commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
Assist tree climbers in the removal of trees and trimming of branches
Operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, mini skid and stump grinders
Perform general maintenance of trees and shrubs, including pruning and fertilizing
Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times
Communicate effectively with team members and clients
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in tree care or related field
Ability to operate and maintain equipment
Strong commitment to safety
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to drive a truck & Trailer (just need a health card)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Pay is dependent on experience. Most guys make from $200-300 per day or more depending on experience.
