MEDIACOM, a leading provider of cable and telecommunications services, has excellent career opportunities for qualified, self-motivated individuals who want to join the fastest growing cable telecommunications operation in the U.S. We are currently seeking candidates for the following position working in our Regional Warehouse facility located in Chanhassen, MN.
Warehouse Associate
Responsible for coordinating the warehouse activities of for shipping, receiving, inventorying, issuing of materials/supplies/ tools/equipment within the stockroom. Responsible for the issuance, check-in, reconciliation, and integrity of customer DVRs, digital boxes and other items. May assist with driving the warehouse truck to deliver inventory to our other small warehouse locations.
Maintains all inventory in a secure and orderly manner with appropriate controls as outlined in the Company's inventory control guidelines. Enters into the computerized equipment tracking system the various status moves involved in properly issuing and checking in equipment. Receives, from the computerized equipment tracking system, reports and printouts involving the movement of equipment through its various stages of the equipment's life cycle. Also perform equipment deliveries from our Chanhassen Regional Warehouse to our other smaller warehouse locations.
Qualified applicants should have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability lift up to 70 lbs. Requires familiarity with computerized inventory practices, and use of Excel spreadsheets. Requires high school diploma or equivalent with appropriate technical training and/or aptitude. Preferred candidates will have previous warehouse experience; however, we will train the right individual.
