Previous experience (2+ years) required. People that want to learn and expand their sign making experience will benefit from existing staff with over 50+ years of sign design, production, and installation experience. Job Description:
- Operate equipment: large format printer, laminator and vinyl plotter/cutter
- Weed cut vinyl and mask for installation
- Apply vinyl graphics to various surfaces (substrates, walls and vehicles)
- Assemble signs (in shop or at customer site)
- Install signs on various surfaces (interior and exterior)
- Operate design software computer (Adobe Illustrator and/or Flexi sign design software), and email
- Customer service (walk-ins, new and existing clients, in-person and on the telephone)
- Keep the shop organized, clean and tidy
- Other related tasks as needed or necessary for the Office/Shop
Required Skills and Attributes:
- Experience and comfort working with basic hand and power tools
- Ability to work with hands and perform basic physical tasks
- Comfortable working from ladders and lifts
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail
- Follow work safety guidelines and OSHA requirements
- Ability to work efficiently, without supervision, and manage the daily workflow
- Have a valid state driver's license (CDL desirable)
- Promote the Company's vision and mission statement, and strive to achieve Company goals
Bonus skills (desirable, but not required):
- Vehicle wrapping experience
- Sign graphic design, using Adobe Illustrator and/or Flexi sign design software
