Manufacturing Associate

Summary: The Manufacturing Associate is an important part of the Century Tool's Team. Tasks would include supporting the cleanliness of the shop, part mark, assemble products, sand blasting, cutting, checking inventory levels, and other tasks as assigned. Details are very important and all team members work with the quality department to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities and duties include:

Understanding of safety rules and regulations.

Maintaining of 5S program and general organization of the work area, shop, building and outside grounds.

Assemble machines and other assembly tasks.

Support our customers by part marking, deburring, sand blasting, assembly, and operations of light equipment.

Consistently look for ways to improve current processes.

Inside the shop - sweeping, dumping chip bins, dumping garbage and cleaning walls.

Outside Grounds - mowing, weeding, brush clean up and shoveling.

Accountability for following company written quality procedures.

Contribute to the growth and vision of company by working as a team member in all aspects of support.

Seeking out additional tasks to help the team to complete projects.

Help with Safety related action items.

Other duties as assigned.

Education or Certifications:

High School diploma or equivalent

US Citizen Required.

Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)

Skills/Abilities/Competencies:

Continuous Improvement, Computer, and Mechanical skills a plus.

Must have Good Hand Writing Skills.

Able to lift 25 pounds or more daily and over 25 pounds occasionally

Ability to push or pull over 25 pounds daily or over 25 pounds occasionally

Must be able to read, write and speak English.
