Schwieters Companies is seeking to hire a full-time Prehung Door Casing Assembler.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Operating Kval CNC trim saw

Operating V-Nail back stapler and glue gun

Operating mitre box

Reading and interpreting a tape measurer

Managing orders to be completed in full and on time

Using a scan gun to check inventory and properly adjust material locations

Selecting material from shelves and preparing items for next steps

Inspecting all material for quality

Standing, walking, reaching, and lifting repeatedly throughout shift

Having constant communication with upper management on progress with work orders

Working together with a team of individuals to reach the common goal of 100% on-time delivery to the customer

Picking material using a stand/sit forklift (as needed)

Other duties as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous warehouse or material handler experience preferred

Comfortable learning to operate a forklift

Candidate must have a good work history

Ability to lift 50 pounds comfortably

Self-motivated, self-directed team player and team builder

Ability to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions; have legible penmanship, good communication skills (verbal and written) and be detail oriented

Able to stand for extended periods of time

Flexible in working overtime when necessary

Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen (this is a safety-sensitive position)

WORK SCHEDULE

1st shift

Monday thru Friday, 6am-2:30pm, overtime offered as needed

PAY

$22 per hour (1st shift)
