Participate in all phases of shipping, receiving and warehousing of purchased materials and finished products.
This includes preparing items for shipment and verifying counts of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Essential Duties:
Unload case goods - products + supplies using pallet jacks, dolly or forklift and delivering them to departments or storage.
Pull items, prepare orders , label, palletize with paying attention to detail, Shipping in a timely order.
Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels by accurate reporting of receipts, samples and shipments.
Examine incoming shipments, count pieces, record shortages etc.
Receive returned merchandize and complete Creedit Autorization form.
Qualifications:
UPS manifest experience
Frieght knowledge + experience
Previous experience in shipping and receiving role(s)
Ability to read, write and understand English
Ability to perform intermediate math functions and do basic computer data entry
Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, RF scanners
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to read and interpret documents and complete forms
Excellent Communication skills to coordinate with carriers and team members
Position will involve some calling to truck lines
Schedule:
7: - 3:30, Mon. - Fri., Long term / permanent
Pay: $18.-$20. per hour ( depending on qualifications )
