The Structural & Miscellaneous Steel Welders/Fitters positions require candidates capable of: (a) reading and interpreting blueprints to accurately lay out assembly pieces for structural steel beams and columns, (b) understanding and precisely measuring weld sizes, (c) operating overhead cranes, which is highly advantageous, (d) operating forklifts, which is also beneficial, (e) tack welding assembly pieces precisely as per shop drawings/prints, (f) passing a drug test, and (g) succeeding in a weld test.
