Warehouse Specialist job description:
Simultaneously pick and pack orders accurately in a timely manner, applying quality customer service.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
-Pick and Pack orders accurately and timely following customer specific notes and labeling the product(s)
-Unload incoming containers of product (Tires - floor loaded, Inner Tubes - palletized, Steel Wheels - palletized)
-Be able to read receiving paperwork to confirm that product being unloaded is accurate and the stacking/racking is done correctly.
-Willing to learn how to build tire assemblies efficiently.
-Operate riding pallet jack, sit-down forklift and reach truck.
-Basic computer skills are used to confirm orders, print labels and communicate with others in the warehouse/office.
-Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse and work area.
-Must work/communicate well with others.
-Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
-Must be able to work on your feet for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
Experience in using forklifts, and building tire & wheel assemblies is preferred but not required to qualify for this position.
Job Type: Full-time (minimum of 40 hours per week)
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am to 3:30pm
Pay: $20 per hour & $30 per hr for overtime(OT) (OT pay starts after 8 hours worked in a day)
Overtime, when necessary, is paid at a rate of time and a half
