We are a leading design-build residential remodeling firm based in Minneapolis, in business for 16 years. We are seeking a dynamic Office Manager & HR Specialist to join our team and play a crucial role in managing our office operations and human resources department.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented individual who will take charge of all aspects of our office administration while also overseeing human resource management functions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of home remodeling and associated products, as well as a passion for improving our marketing efforts. This role will include purchasing products for our projects and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day office operations, such as managing correspondence, schedules, and maintaining office supplies,

Order, organize and track all products for our projects.

Take initiative to strengthen our marketing strategies and initiatives. Contribute creative ideas to enhance our brand presence and attract new clients.

Oversee human resource functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.

Function as a liaison between the management team and employees, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources (PHR cert. preferred) or a related field preferred.

Experience in the construction industry.

Proven office management and human resources experience.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Effective communication and people skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience using construction management software (e.g., Buildertrend)

Experience marketing a small business.

An initiative-taking mindset to address new challenges and drive continuous improvement.
