About the Position:

Are you organized, efficient, and ready to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry? Young surgeon/nurse couple (no children), and business owners looking for a dedicated business/home personal assistant to join their dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a leading orthopedic surgeon and a healthcare entrepreneur in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

We would love to find a detail-oriented and experienced personal assistant who loves organization, has a creative mind, is an independent thinker, is reliable, motivated, easy to get along with, and is willing to generally help out with whatever is needed. While we will be specific in terms of what needs to be done, we embrace and encourage you to share any suggestions you may have along the way. We will be a team and are excited to see the practice/business grow, with your help!

Key Responsibilities:

As a Personal Assistant, your role will be diverse and integral to the smooth operation of our professional & personal life. Responsibilities will include:

Scheduling: Managing appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements, ensuring our time is optimized.

Communication: Act as a point of contact between office employees, colleagues, and external stakeholders. Handle email correspondence and phone calls professionally and promptly.

Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance, including document management, filing, inbox management (including drafting and sending emails) and data organization. Social media management (including content creation, inbox management &marketing). And business management (Air BNB, Turo etc.)

Event Coordination: Assist in planning and organizing events, conferences, and seminars, both online and in person.

Research: Conduct research and gather information as requested by Dr. Okoroha to support his work and decision-making.

Personal Assistance: Provide personal assistance tasks as needed, ensuring that Dr. Okoroha & Ms. Eyoh’s personal and professional life runs smoothly.

Laundry (folding and putting away)

Booking travel arrangements: Flights/hotels/car service etc.

Managing returns and other errands

Shopping, picking up dry cleaning, post office etc.

Sort mail, deliveries, etc.

Order, wrap, and ship gifts

Packing/unpacking prior to and after travel

Organizing projects in the apartment

Anything else that needs to be done: ex: taking car to get serviced

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in using office software and tools.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
