Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and organized professional to join our team as an Office/Sales Associate. This dual role encompasses responsibilities within both office administration and inside and outside sales, supporting our snow removal and asphalt maintenance divisions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring efficient office operations and providing superior support to both internal staff and external clients. This position demands exceptional customer service abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Responsibilities
Provide daily assistance to the Owner, General Manager, and other team members on various projects.
Execute data entry tasks with precision and efficiency, ensuring records are consistently updated.
Support invoicing and payment processes, daily operational activities, job scheduling, and meeting coordination.
Undertake clerical duties including document proofreading and correspondence preparation.
Manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately to facilitate effective internal communication.
Engage with property managers to promote and sell snow removal services and asphalt maintenance.
Monitor crew progress to ensure projects proceed smoothly and are completed as scheduled.
Collaborate with team members to foster and maintain an efficient office environment.
Overnight work during the winter months will be required to assist with team members where needed
Report to management daily.
A company-provided phone and laptop will be issued.
Complete additional assigned tasks as required.
Experience
Previous experience in an office management or administrative role & sales in snow removal or asphalt maintenance is preferred.
Familiarity with customer service principles and practices is essential.
Experience with data entry and file management is highly desirable.
Knowledge of CRMs and quickbooks is required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required for success in this role.
Proficiency in using office software applications (e.g., Google Office Suite) is beneficial.
Knowledge of Apple, Android and Windows systems is required.
