Automotive Technician Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and knowledgeable automotive technician to join our team. In this role, you will inspect and repair vehicles and make recommendations for automotive repairs and maintenance.
Automotive Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
On time and present for work every day.
Consistently meet deadlines for completed work
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency.
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
Automotive Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
ASE Certification preferred, but not required
At least 2 years of previous experience in a related role
Extensive experience with various hand tools preferred
Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
Shift and Schedule:
8 Hour shift
No weekends (Monday-Friday)
