JP McDonald Construction is an established and growing general contractor. We are currently seeking a carpenter with the ability to work on and manage office/commercial interior renovation projects throughout the upper Midwest. We are looking for a candidate who is team oriented, positive and self-motivated. This is a fulltime year-round salaried exempt position.
Duties Include:
Read and interpret plans on site
Perform minor demo as needed (ceilings, walls, flooring, etc.)
Perform on-site carpentry as needed (metal stud wall framing, doors/hardware, etc.)
Requirements:
Ability to communicate effectively with team members, sub-contractors, suppliers and clients
Good carpentry skills
General knowledge of other trades
Basic computer skills
Ability to travel throughout Minnesota and neighboring states
