Position Overview:
As a Commercial Plumber, you’ll be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, valves, drainage systems, and fixtures. You’ll also install mechanical piping systems including PVC, copper, PEX, ProPress, and thread/grooved systems. Daily tasks include layout work, following the Uniform Plumbing Code, and working from blueprints and submittals.
Job Details:
- Location: Cedar Rapids, IA
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Hours: 40+ hours/week
- Pay Rate: Competitive – $25–$35/hour
Requirements:
- Experience with commercial plumbing systems
- Ability to read blueprints and follow plumbing codes
- Skilled in various piping systems: PVC, copper, PEX, ProPress, thread/grooved
- Basic PPE and hand tools required
