Experienced Finish Sprayer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Finishing Sprayer to join our team. We are looking for someone that is loyal, organized, detail oriented and who takes pride in the finished product.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying various finishes to cabinet components, millwork, slab doors and countertops, etc This role requires knowledge of finishes and HVLP sprayer systems. The Finish Sprayer will provide quality assurance for finished projects.

Duties Include:

Operate and maintain HLVP spray system.

Adjusting spray guns, fluid pressure, air pressure, and ability to fix a bad spray pattern.

Inspect surfaces prior to applying finish, checking for cracks and imperfections to ensure smooth finish.

Use air-assisted spray guns to seal and topcoat.

Scuff sand and toning, as needed.

Use appropriate tools and equipment to apply finishes evenly and accurately.

Ensure final project matches the provided control sample.

Maintain Quality Assurance for stained and clear coated projects.

Meet project timelines and deadlines.

Effectively communicate with Management and team members.

Keep work area neat and clean.

Request product/supplies as needed.

Work as a team player.

Work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Able to read paperwork and work orders.

Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes.

Strong knowledge of different types of wood finishes and their application techniques.

Experience with toning.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Ability to lift and maneuver 50+ pound items, as necessary.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to meet the end goal.

Familiarity with HLVP sprayer systems and hand tools relevant to finishing tasks.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to Quality Assurance.

Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Willingness to learn new techniques and products.

Strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal direct supervision.

Be able to work independently and/or in a team environment.
