We pride ourselves on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and delivering high-quality work to our clients. As our company continues to grow, we're looking for a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team and take charge of project execution on-site superintendents.
Job Summary:
The Lead Carpenter will oversee and participate in all aspects of construction projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to our high standards. This position requires leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
Responsibilities:
Lead and work alongside a crew of carpenters and laborers on-site
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
Coordinate material orders, deliveries, and equipment needs
Ensure all work is completed to code and company standards
Mentor and train less experienced crew members
Communicate with project managers and clients regarding progress, timelines, and any on-site changes
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Troubleshoot and solve construction issues as they arise
Requirements:
5+ years of carpentry experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
Extensive knowledge of residential/commercial construction methods, materials, and tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions
OSHA certification (preferred)
Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)

Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to fifty pounds on a frequent basis and up to one-hundred pounds on an occasional basis; prolonged standing and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching is required on a daily basis. A full range of physical motion is required in order to operate manual and electrically-powered tools, sprayers, and construction-related equipment. The ability to move throughout the building, including climbing stairs and to work at heights from ladders or scaffolding, in order to perform construction-related work is required.
Environment
Work is performed indoors and outdoors, occasionally in environments that are dusty, noisy, or which could have work hazards.
