Maintenance Technician – PT position No On-Call

We are a locally owned company that manages & maintains single family homes, townhomes, and multi-unit apartment buildings throughout the Metro area. We are currently seeking both FT and PT Maintenance Technicians to join our team.
About the Maintenance Tech position:
Role Responsibilities:
· Complete a variety of maintenance work orders in plumbing, electrical, repair, etc.
· Travel to and from job locations throughout the Twin Cities Metro area
· Effectively communicate with customers and office team
· Provide exceptional customer service to clients (owners and tenants) when completing work orders.
· Identify additional maintenance needs at properties, i.e., private home maintenance or preventative maintenance
· Partner with vendors involving work orders and accountability
· Participate in company meetings
Ideal Candidate:
· 2+ years of maintenance tech, handyman or construction experience
· Experience in troubleshooting, repair, and installation of common household issues
· Motivated self-starter with strong work initiative
· Ability to work independently
· Exceptional customer service skills
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to use up-to-date technology
· Positive attitude
· Reliable transportation and necessary tools for use on the job
· Boiler license a plus
· Bilingual a plus

We offer great part-time benefits:
· $21 - $25/hour
· Paid Time Off each year, accrual starting on day 1.
· 10 paid holidays each year, eligible on day 1
· Mileage reimbursed at IRS rate, currently $0.67 per mile driven
· Paid travel time between work orders
· 1/2 day Fridays; office closes at noon every Friday
