We are currently seeking a skilled and organized Project Manager to join our team and oversee projects from start to finish.
Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of a diverse range of residential and light commercial projects. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and budgeting to overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards. We’re looking for a natural communicator with strong organizational skills and a diversified background in residential remodeling.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, including scope of work, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Team Coordination: Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to ensure project milestones are met.
- Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout the project.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets and control expenses to ensure projects are delivered within the financial plan.
- Quality Control & Inspections: Ensure all work meets Coty Construction’s high standards and complies with local building codes.
- Problem-Solving: Anticipate potential delays or issues and take proactive measures to resolve them efficiently.
- Reporting: Provide regular project status updates to clients and internal management.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in residential construction or remodeling project management.
- Background: A diversified background in residential remodeling is essential.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills—must be a natural communicator.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Job Nimbus) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Experience with budget management and job costing.
