New construction is muddy, windy, hard, grueling work that pays very well ($30-$60 or more per hour depending on your skills and motivation ), while the replacement end is less laborious, but requires more carpentry skills and manners as you are working in people's homes, some of which are very particular. The right candidate will be reliable, punctual, motivated, strong, healthy, well kept, and will take this job seriously. I am looking for a partner to help me grow my business to another level, not some guy just trying to make a quick buck. You must be proficient with a hammer, and be comfortable working on tall ladders all day in the Minnesota elements, all year round.
