Restoration Technician
Bauer Restoration has an opportunity for a Restoration Technician to join our growing company. The person filling this position with join the mitigation team as the first response to property damaged by water or fire.We are looking for a motivated individual who will go above and beyond to help home and business owners with property damage. Bauer Restoration is a full-service restoration company, meaning we provide services in Water Damage, Fire/Smoke Damage, Storm Damage, Mold Remediation and Reconstruction. At Bauer Restoration, we enjoy helping people restore their homes or businesses as a competent and hardworking team.
This is an AT WILL position. You will receive direction and supervision from the Lead Restoration Technician and Mitigation Manager.
Responsibilities: Providing positive customer service with excellent communication skills. Extract standing water, demo and remove wet building materials as needed. Using industry related equipment including dehumidifiers, air movers & moisture meters. Prepare trucks and equipment for emergency calls. Use company provided software to properly document and scope projects. Ensure proper maintenance of vehicles and equipment. Follow established safety guidelines and protocols Assist with a Radon Mitigation Air Duct Cleaning Carpet Cleaning You may be expected to work overtime as needed
Qualifications: Provide exemplary customer service to clients and vendors. Meet quality standards for customer satisfaction. Ability to communicate to supervisors & co-workers by phone or in person. Maintain physical fitness to meet physical demands customary for this type of work. You may be required to liftup to 75 pounds and work in confined spaces (Attic or Crawlspace). Attention to Detail Demonstrate time management skills, organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to work independently and as a team Apply established company policies and procedures, including safety procedures and principles.
