As our company continues to expand, we are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team for residential, commercial, and storm restoration projects.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Skilled Carpenter with experience in a variety of carpentry techniques. The position begins part-time with the potential to transition to full-time, year-round employment in the spring, which includes health, dental, and life insurance benefits. Spring, summer, and fall are our busiest seasons due to the high demand for storm restoration work. The ideal candidate may also have the opportunity to supervise other carpenters as our team grows.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Skilled Carpenter, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Framing & Carpentry: Build and install both interior and exterior framing for residential and commercial projects.
Deck Construction: Design and build durable decks, ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards.
Finish Carpentry: Install trim, molding, doors, and windows with precision.
Siding & Shingle Repair: Repair or replace damaged siding and shingles on exterior surfaces. (Not a deal breaker)
Flooring & Tiling: Install and repair wood, laminate, tile, and other flooring materials. Lay tiles for floors and walls with precision. (Not a deal breaker)
Drywall & Painting: Assist with drywall mudding, taping, and painting tasks. (Not a deal breaker)
Additions & Restorations: Work on home additions, renovations, and storm restoration projects.
Runner Duties: When available, assist with material pickups or transport between job sites.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs safely.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and environments.
Stamina to perform daily tasks and move between job sites.
Requirements:
5+ years of Carpentry Experience with a proven portfolio.
Deck Building Expertise and experience with custom builds.
Restoration & Additions Experience with a focus on quality.
Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation to job sites across the metro area.
Tools: Must own the majority of tools necessary for the job.
