Superintendent of Commercial Construction. (Minneapolis, St. Paul, Egan, Stillwater)
We are looking for Superintendent(s) of Construction.
Locations: Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota
We are a commercial construction management company, we have been in business for over 30 years, we are based in TX., & AZ.
We specialize in Hospitality, Retail, Medical & Executive TI’s, and Ground-up projects.
The Position:
Confirm the job site is always clean and organized manner.
Communicate with the project team regarding Daily logs, & RFI’s, documentation as needed.
Ensure that subcontractors are fully complying with their contracted scope of work.
Maintain a daily log of activities on the jobsite using software.
Walk the project daily to monitor activities and two week outlooks planning.
Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work.
Notify Project Manager of non-compliance of subcontractors in regards to quality of work, safety or scheduling.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl. The employee must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 25/50 pounds. The employee is required to work on active projects and may be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. The position is required to be in all types of conditions and weather.
Experience and requirements:
The minimum requirements:
High School Diploma required, 4+ yrs. of experience, or a foreman or lead of a trade.
With hands on-experience.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
The preferred candidate will be:
A Team player, comfortable with technology, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, strengths with Tenant Improvements, have dependable transportation to and from projects (preferably a Truck or Van), a dependable phone, Microsoft programs and communication. OSHA 10,
& A standard “tool bag” and knowledgeable for punch list items.
Must be able to read, understand and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules for construction.
A graduate of a Construction educational program OR extensive hands on Experience.
Compensation will be based on Experience: and may include Technology reimbursements, Salary, Auto reimbursement. A possible background check, DMV records and drug testing may be requested.
